Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 4 pork loin chops, boneless
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of fresh ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 1 can chicken stock(8oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. • Over a medium high heat, bring the skillet up to temperature and sauté the pork loin chops until Brown on the first side turnover, bring second side to Golden Brown. Remove the chops from the pan and place on paper towel, cover with foil to keep warm.
  2. • Reduce the skillet temperature to medium, toss in the sliced onions, cook until tender, add the next four ingredients and bring to a fast simmer.
  3. • Bring the pork chops back to the skillet, cover and cook for about 8 min., uncover and cook about 12 more minutes or to your desired doneness.
  4. Serve with rice, risotto or some kind of potato and then a green vegetable such as broccoli would be perfect serve to complete the meal.

Take a couple of oranges and slice them into quarters. Cut up a couple of onions, neatness is not important just expose the flesh. Next add some thyme or oregano or whatever spices that you enjoy. You could also add some garlic at this point. Salt and pepper the pile of herbs, vegetables and fruit, mash this all together. Now butter the inside of the cavity, inside of the neck area place part of the “stuffing” and secure the neck flap. Swing the bird around, butter inside once again then fill the cavity with the remainder of the “stuffing”.
Place the turkey on a rack that will lift the turkey off the bottom of the pan. mix some herbs, salt , pepper and softened butter together. Make sure that you chop whatever herbs you use that it is chopped finely. You could substitute thyme, basil or your favorite herb for the oregano or even make a combination of herbs. Easy Halloween Recipe: Spooky Eyeball Pasta

One very easy Halloween recipe that you can make in almost any kitchen and it is quite tasty. For the recipe you will need some Tagliatelle pasta, along with black olives and mozzarella. Of course pasta sauce also known as marinara and some pepperoni for spice. One tool that will help greatly is a melon baller.

Making the Eyeballs

Take a fairly thin slice of pepperoni and make it a little smaller. Next, with the handy dandy melon baller scoop a ball of mozzarella and place on top of the pepperoni to begin forming the eyeball. Then a small slice of the black olive placed on top of the cheese and you have an eyeball.

Completing the Meal

Make the pasta by boiling, drain and add the sauce. Once the pasta is arranged in the bowl just the way you would like it to be, simply place the eyeballs on the top and you have spooky eyeball pasta which is an easy Halloween recipe to prepare.

Easy Halloween Recipes: Spooky Ghost Cornbread

The Ingredients
This is one very easy Halloween recipe that is healthy for you called spooky ghost cornbread. The one thing about this recipe is that the cornbread is made in such a way that it is healthy for you to eat. One cu of yellow cornmeal, one cup whole wheat flour, four teaspoons of baking powder and a cup of honey, raw would be preferred. One teaspoon of sea salt and two egg whites will round out the dry ingredients. Use one cup of skim milk for the liquid portion. By using a quarter cup of applesauce moisture is added to the batter along with a little sweetness. So instead of using white flour, regular salt and using whole wheat flour this makes for a cornbread with less fat and carbohydrates without losing too much flavor.

Making the Batter
To make the batter simply place all the dry ingredients into a large bowl and stir until combined. Then add all the wet ingredients and mix together.. Preheat your oven to four hundred degrees. Spray a long rectangle baking dish or pan Combine and whisk all of the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients together until well combined but not overworked.

Baking and Finishing
Pour the batter into the baking vessel and bake for about twenty minutes until the cornbread has a nice golden brown crust. After the bread is cooked you want to let it cool all the way down. Using ghost shape cookie cutter you are ready to serve.

Recipes For Dinner :Cold Salad Recipes

One thing for sure easy meals for dinner are always welcome and sometimes you just need cold salad recipes for that dinner.  To make this particular recipe you will need a fresh bunch of basil, some olive oil (extra virgin), some pine nuts, about a quater of a cup, parmasean cheese about a quater of a cup, a little salt, and two cloves of chopped garlic.  using your favorite food processor or blender, take a cup of the fresh basil and place into the unit.  Add the remainder of the dry ingredients with the basil.  Turn on the processor and add the oil slowly up to a quarter cup of olive oil or until the mixture becomes a sauce, not loose or tight but a smooth flowing sauce.  Remember when making this pesto you can add garlic, salt and pepper to taste.  This recipe also falls under the recipes for dinner category and would be good to have in your recipe box for a winter or summer menu.

To make the pasta, use rotinni pasta, some grape or Roma type tomatoes, Mozzarella cheese, pearl type works beautifully. For seasoning use some black peppercorns and salt to taste with some additional parmesan cheese. cook the pasta portions first you can use regular pasta or whole wheat for a healthier meal and follow the directions on the package or box. Rinse the tomatoes and separate the pearls or slice the Mozzarella into pieces. Take the cooked pasta and drain. Take a large bowl and place the pasta in then add the pesto over the pasta, mix thoroughly. Taste and adjust to your taste using salt and pepper. Then add the tomatoes and parmesan cheese. While you are waiting for the pasta to cool cook a couple of sausages and cut and add to the pasta. Cook the asparagus and chop, if you wish, asparagus is not a required element. After the pasta is cool, add the Mozzarella and taste. Adjust seasoning to your liking. This is an easy meal for four that can be served anytime for dinner.

Fun Halloween Treats: Mini Pizzas

Called Mini Mummy Pizzas they are easy and fun Halloween treats that are  fun to make.  So simple even kids could make this simple Halloween treat.  Start by getting some pizza dough, you can either make your own or buy frozen or better yet get some from your local pizza shop.  Cut each dough into four pieces.  Generally to calculate the number you will need just multiply by two the number of guests  and you should be safe. making these mummy pizzas you will need some mini pepperoni and some black olives.  you can use them in  combination or switch either one depending on tastes.  When doing pizza sauce you can use a store brand and then add some of your favorite ingredients to give it a more suitable flavor to your taste.  Some of these ingredients you could add oregano, pepper, if you like heat some tabasco sauce would be good.  You could also add some basil or anything that you like that would go in marinara sauce.

Form the dough into a mini head, a small circle if you will. Place these on a baking tray that has been sprayed with non stick olive oil spray. Next spread some sauce onto each of the mummy heads. Not too much sauce is needed. Then place on the pepperoni and olives on the top part of the face using two per mini pizza to simulate eyes. Now take some plain string cheese and cut in half, peel off the strings as usual now and then lay across the mummy head just like you were wrapping a mummy. kind of cover the eyes just a little bit. Even though these are for Halloween they are easy recipe meals for a weekday dinner without the eyes. Just add pepperoni and olives or your choice of meat toppings.

Shrimp Appetizer Cajun Style



Begin the shrimp  appetizer Cajun style is among easy appetizers by using a half pound of boiled and deveined shrimp. When boiling the shrimp use salt and garlic in the water or you could use the liquid Cajun boil. Chop some green onion and finely chop one stalk of celery. To round out the mixture use sour cream and one package of cream cheese. For flavor include some ketchup and horseradish sauce. You could use chili sauce in place of the ketchup for some added flavor and less sweetness.

Scoop out the mixture into a bowl and add the finely chopped celery to the bowl. Combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

Now is the time to add the seasoning, add salt and pepper to taste. You could add cayenne or some tabasco sauce at this point. After mixing in all the seasoning and you feel that you have it together this is the time to taste and adjust according to your taste and the people who might be partaking of this wonderful shrimp dip appetizer Cajun style.

This dip you can serve with crackers or mini toast. Any kind of bread that you would like to use would be good. If you want to taste the shrimp it is important not to get a bread, cracker or chip that does not overpower the dip.

Once you pull the fish out and have it on a plate you could add some of the sauce at room temperature of you might heat it, that would be to your preference. To make it more for dinner you could serve white of brown rice and add a vegetable such as broccoli or asparagus.
